1. Scope
This Policy applies to information processed through Vivid, its AI creation features, optional purchases or subscriptions, and communications with us. It does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services that we do not control. Those services process information under their own policies.
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here. Where required by applicable law or iOS permission controls, we will request permission or consent before accessing or transmitting selected content.
2. Information We May Process
Content you choose to provide
Depending on the feature you use, we may process:
- text prompts, creative instructions, captions, styles, effects, and generation settings;
- photos, images, videos, or other media that you intentionally select or upload;
- generated or edited images, videos, previews, variations, and related results;
- temporary files and technical identifiers needed to complete a request or diagnose a failed generation; and
- messages, attachments, and contact information you provide when requesting support.
Please submit only content that you are authorized to use. Images, videos, prompts, and outputs may contain personal information about you or other people.
Technical and usage information
We may process limited technical and usage information, such as device model, iOS version, app version, language and region settings, IP address, general timestamps, feature interactions, generation status, crash logs, performance diagnostics, network information, and security or fraud-prevention signals.
Purchase and entitlement information
If Vivid offers subscriptions, in-app purchases, or other paid features through the Apple App Store, Apple processes payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. We may receive limited transaction, receipt, product, subscription, renewal, cancellation, and entitlement information needed to provide or restore purchased benefits. We do not receive your complete payment-card number from Apple.
3. Photos, Camera, and iOS Permissions
Vivid may request access to Photos, Camera, or other iOS capabilities only when relevant to a feature you choose, such as selecting source media, capturing an image or video, saving an output, or sharing content. The permission wording and choices are controlled by iOS and may vary by operating-system version.
You can grant limited photo-library access where iOS offers that option, deny a request, or change permissions later in iOS Settings. If you deny or withdraw a required permission, the related feature may not work, but other features may remain available.
Vivid does not access your entire photo library merely because you select an individual item through an Apple-provided picker. We process only the media and access that you intentionally make available through the selected feature, subject to the permission granted.
4. AI Processing
AI creation requires automated processing of the prompts, selected media, settings, and other inputs you submit. Depending on the feature, this information and related outputs may be transmitted to secure cloud infrastructure and service providers that support AI processing, hosting, content delivery, safety checks, or diagnostics.
We use submitted content to provide the feature you request, return the result, troubleshoot failures, protect the Services, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable law. We do not use uploaded images or videos for facial recognition, identity verification, or the creation of a biometric identity database.
AI-generated results may be inaccurate, unexpected, offensive, incomplete, or similar to results created for others. Review every output before saving, publishing, sharing, or relying on it.
5. How We Use Information
We may use information as reasonably necessary to:
- provide requested AI image and video generation or editing features;
- apply your selected creative options and return generated results;
- operate, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Services;
- detect prohibited content, fraud, abuse, and technical or security incidents;
- manage paid access and restore purchases when offered;
- respond to support, privacy, deletion, and legal requests; and
- comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.
6. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
Vivid may use analytics or crash-reporting services to understand app performance, feature use, errors, and general service trends. These services may process limited device and usage information under appropriate obligations.
If Vivid engages in tracking as defined by Apple, accesses the advertising identifier, or links app data with third-party data for targeted advertising or measurement, we will request permission through Apple's AppTrackingTransparency framework where required. You can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings. We do not circumvent an iOS tracking choice.
We do not sell user-uploaded images, videos, prompts, or generated content to data brokers or advertisers.
7. How Information May Be Shared
We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: to providers supporting AI processing, hosting, storage, delivery, analytics, crash reporting, security, moderation, customer support, or purchase verification.
- At your direction: when you choose to export, save, publish, or share an output with a person, app, or destination.
- Apple services: where Apple processes downloads, purchases, subscriptions, entitlements, device functions, or other App Store services under its own policies.
- Legal and safety reasons: where reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or enforce agreements.
- Business changes: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of assets, subject to applicable safeguards.
8. Acceptable Content and Consent
You may submit media only when you own it or have all rights, licenses, permissions, releases, and consents needed for the requested processing and your intended use of the output. If content depicts another person, you are responsible for respecting their privacy, publicity, likeness, copyright, and other rights.
You must not use Vivid to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, exploitative, non-consensual intimate, sexually abusive, child-exploitative, harassing, impersonating, or materially deceptive content. We may block requests, restrict features, preserve necessary records, or take other appropriate action when misuse is detected or reasonably suspected.
9. Retention and Deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide requested features, return or maintain results where applicable, operate and secure the Services, support users, administer purchases, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies based on the type of information, feature behavior, user choices, operational requirements, and applicable law.
When information is no longer reasonably needed, it may be deleted, de-identified, or securely isolated, subject to backup cycles, security needs, technical limitations, and legal requirements. Media saved to your device remains under your control, and content shared with another service is subject to that service's practices.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of electronic transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should protect access to your device and avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive or confidential information.
11. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You can choose what content to submit, manage iOS permissions, adjust AppTrackingTransparency choices where applicable, decide whether to share an output, manage subscriptions through your Apple account, and stop using Vivid.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or portability for certain personal information, and to appeal or complain to a data-protection authority. These rights may be subject to verification and legal exceptions.
To submit a privacy or deletion request, email support@vividhubai.com. Please describe your request and provide only the information reasonably needed to identify relevant records.
12. Children's Privacy
Vivid is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. Users must not submit or generate exploitative, sexualized, or otherwise harmful content involving minors. If you believe a child provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
13. International Processing
Information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Those locations may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards or recognized mechanisms for relevant international transfers.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Vivid, technology, law, App Store requirements, or our practices. We will revise the effective date when we do and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
